I can't wait to dig into some bangin' basil pesto! Like hummus...I love this stuff! You can change it up so many different ways to put your stamp on it, but we are going to do a standard Vegan Pesto!
4 c. Basil
1½ c. Pine Nuts (could substitute in cashews)
7 c. Garlic.
1/4 c.Olive Oil (you can use less or add water instead)
2 tbsp. White Miso Paste
1/2 c. Nutritional Yeast.
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 Teaspoon Salt (optional)
Pepper to taste (I used 6 cracks of pepper)
1. Run the Pine Nuts through the food processor.
3. Add in the white miso paste
Blend to your desired consistency & enjoy!
